There are several different "types" of Source Element that you can analyze with Caliton Template Analyzer and there are a number of different combinations available for Element Type and Element.

The selections for Element Type include two special entries; *All and *Database.

*All means that you want to analyze all elements of all types.

*Database means that you only want to analyze databases that inherit from the Source Template at the database level.  Any design elements that are tagged to inherit individually from the Source Template will not appear in the results.

The selections for Element include one special entry called *All.  When *All is selected then All elements of the selected type will be analyzed e.g. all Forms.

Caliton Template Analyzer may undertake different analysis depending on the values chosen for Element Type and Element.  Selecting *All for either the Element Type or the Element will allow Template Analyzer to check for Orphans and Extra Elements (if Extended Analysis is selected).  This is described in the following table.
