Logging Level

The Logging Level determines how much information is recorded in the Log File.

Caliton Template Analyzer has three different logging levels; Low, Medium and High.  The default level is Low.  Increasing the logging level increases the amount of detail that is stored in the log and it also increases the time required to undertake the analysis.  The current logging level is stored in an environment variable called Caliton_Template_Analyzer_Logging_Level.  This environment variable is stored in your Notes.ini file (the standard Lotus Notes configuration settings file) which can be edited using a standard text editor such as Windows Notepad.

In general you should leave the Logging Level set to Low. You may be requested to change the logging level by Caliton Technical Support in order to increase the amount of information recorded in the log.  If you are trying to solve a problem on your own then try increasing the logging level to Medium (enhanced logging) or High (full debug), re-run the analysis with Caliton Template Analyzer and then check the log file.
